OMT Beirut Sports Festival returns for its third edition
Reaffirming the private sector's commitment to supporting sports and empowering Lebanese youth, Mr. Karim El Andary, President of Beirut Sports Festival, and Mr. Naji Abou Zeid, CEO of OMT, signed a partnership agreement to officially launch the third edition of OMT Beirut Sports Festival.
On this occasion, Abou Zeid emphasized that supporting sports is a core commitment of OMT towards the Lebanese community. He added that this collaboration reflects OMT's dedication to social responsibility and underscores the vital role of the private sector in fostering sportsmanship, innovation, and excellence among Lebanese youth. Sports, after all, is a universal language that unites all segments of Lebanese society.
El Andary further expanded on the festival’s importance, describing it as the largest sporting event in Lebanon. He stated, “This festival brings together a diverse audience of sports enthusiasts and fans from all age groups and backgrounds. It features a wide array of sports challenges, tournaments, and activities aimed at encouraging Lebanese youth to engage in sports, showcase their talents, and demonstrate their abilities across various disciplines. Additionally, it promotes public health and contributes to building a more active and dynamic society.”
