One billion LBP from OMT to support 1,000 families
“Kelna Haddik Ya Beirut” (We are all Next to Beirut) is an initiative launched by OMT in cooperation with Caritas Lebanon.
As a first step, OMT donated 500 million Lebanese pounds in cash to support 500 in-need families affected by the Beirut Blast with one million Lebanese pounds each.
Following a field survey conducted by Caritas, a joint team of Caritas and OMT representatives visited the families to alleviate their sorrow and offer them support.
As a second step, with every OMT Intra money transfer inside Lebanon, OMT will donate LBP 5,000.
Our campaign is ongoing, until we reach 1 billion Lebanese pounds and together support 1,000 families.
